“KOOL DANCING IN MY MIND ” de Bob Wilson en 2010 (reconstitution )

Wilson, with Carla Blank create a performance-portrait inspired by Suzushi Hanayagi, prominent Japanese choreographer and member of the Judson Church Dance movement. Archival and newly filmed material of Suzushi by Richard Rutowski is combined with dances performed by Jona Bokaer and Illenk Gentile. The work reflects Hanayagi’s current state of dementia and serves as a poetic monument to a working friendship. This was presented in conjunction with the Guggenheim’s The Third Mind exhibit.
